Team Structure & Culture
You will be integrated into a broad and diverse team of integrative health professionals, which includes:

4 primary-care integrative medicine physicians

3 nurse practitioners

2 specialty integrative medicine physicians

1 chiropractor

2 acupuncturists

2 massage therapists

1 nutritionist

2 psychotherapists
This diverse mix of professionals fosters a comprehensive “mind, body, spirit” approach, allowing you to engage in integrative consultations, coordinate care, and collaborate with colleagues in complementary therapies to provide personalized care.
Position Details

Full-time role, with a flexible commitment of .8–1.0 FTE

Outpatient environment; no inpatient duties or on-call requirements

Utilize both conventional and complementary therapies—including nutrition, mind-body practices, supplements, and lifestyle medicine—in tailored treatment plans.

Act as a physician consultant for patients referred by colleagues or community providers seeking integrative solutions for complex or chronic conditions.

Ensure continuity and quality of care by maintaining precise and timely documentation in the electronic health record.

Engage in community education, employee wellness initiatives, and philanthropic efforts that promote holistic health.
Qualifications
Core Qualifications
-
Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution.

Completion of an accredited residency program (family medicine, internal medicine, or specialty).
Preferred or Specialized Qualifications
Integrative/Functional Medicine Training:
-
Formal fellowship training (1–2 years) or certification in Integrative Medicine, Functional Medicine (IFM), or a comparable program.

Experience in integrating complementary modalities such as acupuncture, nutrition, mind-body medicine, herbal medicine, mindfulness, or yoga therapy.

Board Certification in Integrative Medicine through the American Board of Integrative Medicine (ABOIM) or completion of an approved fellowship in Integrative Medicine is highly desirable.
