Title: Part-time Learning Management System (LMS) Technology Specialist

Location: Remote. May be required to report on the site for specific tasks, meetings and/or presentations. Notification will be provided 24 to 48 hours prior to reporting to Washington, DC.

Salary: Commensurate with experience.

Job Description:

The LMS Technology Specialist provides support on a broad range of educational and training initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Management of a multi-agency LMS (Ex. FedTalent, Percipio and Totara)
• Assistance with a variety of high-priority technological initiatives planned by the agency Development of online course content, training, and data migration
• Administration of competency and workforce assessments to identify agency priorities for employee training and development
• Management of training program support and help desk support for the learning management systems
• Consultation on leadership succession management

Experience Requirements:

• At least ten (10) years of experience working with the federal government learning management systems FedTalent, Percipio and Totara.
• Proficient in technical skills (Ex. technical support, PowerBI, web development, programming languages, information security) and soft skills (Ex. communication skills, customer service, analytical skills, teamwork and collaboration, and continuous learning).

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related technical fields discipline.
