Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time School Psychologist position is available within a K-12 educational setting in Lowell, MA, offering a contract opportunity for the current school year (CSY). This role is integral to supporting students' academic and emotional development through comprehensive psychological evaluations and timely interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations for students across grades K-12, assessing cognitive, behavioral, and emotional needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrative staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and support strategies.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to support student learning and well-being.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to state and district guidelines.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Massachusetts (MA) state license for School Psychologists.
- DESE certification mandatory.
- Proven experience working with a K-12 caseload.
- Strong skills in administering and interpreting psychological assessments.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize caseload effectively.
Location: Lowell, Massachusetts
Contract Details:
- Full-time commitment for the contract duration.
- Assignment begins ASAP and continues through the end of the school year (EOSY).
