University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and skilled Home Care Registered Nurse to provide exceptional nursing care to patients in the Southeast MI Region. Must be willing to travel. This role involves delivering personalized care in a home setting, ensuring the health and well-being of our clients while collaborating with a dedicated healthcare team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in their homes according to established care plans and physician orders.
  • Monitor patient health conditions and report any changes or concerns promptly.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely and accurately.
  • Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
  • Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety guidelines.

Requirements

  • Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan.
  • Previous home care or community nursing experience preferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Reliable transportation to travel to patient homes in the Southeast MI Region.
