Job Title: Installation Service Technician
Location: Remote (Travel to Project Sites Required)

We have teamed up with a leading manufacturer of material handling solutions and currently have a job opening for an Installation Service Technician, able to travel domestically and abroad.
THIS POSITION:
We are seeking a Service Technician; In this role you will be responsible for traveling to places of business, installing electronic equipment,troubleshooting problems with existing equipment, testing connections, providing user instructions to customers, and cleaning up after the job is complete.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Install Conveyors and Sortation Systems and Equipment.

Service and repair Sortation and Conveyor Systems

Complete all onsite activities as defined by the Install Manager.

Participate in onsite meetings with safety, customers, and end users.

Practice safe working standards.

Ensure that all onsite project information is appropriately documented.

Participate in maintenance and operational training presentations as required.

Assist in commissioning the product tests for customers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Hold a High School or higher degree.

Possesses strong mechanical aptitude and is willing to be hands-on.

Ability to be self-motivated, work unsupervised, detail-oriented, and manage time effectively.

Possess good judgment and decision-making.

Ability to read, understand, and assemble from blueprints and schematics.

Must be prepared to travel for long periods for installations.

Possess basic mathematical skills including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, use whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

Prior Conveyor and Sortation system experience is a plus.
Salary range:
$30 to $34 per hour depending on experience
