Job Description

Continental Engineering & Mfg., Inc. is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Senior Human Resources Coordinator to support and coordinate daily human resources functions. This position assists with recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, safety documentation, training coordination, and general HR support.


The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to maintain confidentiality, and experience supporting HR functions in a fast-paced work environment. Manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the recruitment process, including posting job advertisements, scheduling interviews, assisting with pre-employment testing, and communicating with applicants.
  • Support onboarding and orientation for new employees.
  • Maintain employee records, HR files, training documents, and other confidential personnel information.
  • Assist employees with questions regarding HR policies, procedures, benefits, and general employment matters.
  • Provide administrative support for employee benefits, including eligibility tracking and employee communication.
  • Assist with employee relations documentation, disciplinary records, investigations, and follow-up as directed.
  • Support performance review processes and related documentation.
  • Assist with the development, updating, and maintenance of HR policies, procedures, and the employee handbook.
  • Coordinate employee training, leadership development activities, and required compliance training.
  • Support safety programs, training records, worker’s compensation documentation, and OSHA-related requirements.
  • Assist with ISO-related HR processes and continuous improvement documentation.
  • Help coordinate employee communications, company meetings, newsletters, and employee engagement activities.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Perform other tasks as warranted or assigned by management.


Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 3+ years of Human Resources experience.
  • Experience maintaining strict confidentiality.
  • Working knowledge of HR best practices and employment regulations.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and respectfully with internal and external customers.
  • Strong organization and records management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Self-starter with a high level of dependability.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.


Desirable Qualifications

  • Two or more years of applicable post-secondary education.
  • Human Resources experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with employee benefits administration.
  • Familiarity with OSHA requirements, safety documentation, or worker’s compensation.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards.


Pay

$55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.


Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday.
