Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in early childhood education for grades K-5. This role supports students communication development in a dynamic school environment located in San Francisco, CA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students in grades K-5
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans targeting speech, language, and communication skills
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to integrate therapeutic strategies within the classroom setting
- Document student progress and maintain detailed records in compliance with educational and medical standards
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student goals and progress
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP certification and licensure appropriate for school-based service delivery
- Experience working with children in grades K-5, preferably in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and related disorders
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
