Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician III
Location: Midkiff, TX
Schedule: 5/2 | Monday–Friday | 7:00 am – 4:00 pm | Weekly on-call rotation
Position Overview
The Electrical Maintenance Technician III provides advanced field electrical maintenance and support, including troubleshooting, repairs, and system isolation (LOTO). This role ensures equipment reliability across lighting, HVAC, and motor systems while supporting safe and efficient field operations.
Candidates must hold a Texas Journeyman License and possess 4–6 years of experience in electrical maintenance — preferably within oil and gas operations.Key Responsibilities
- Support and execute field electrical maintenance activities and isolation (Lock Out/Tag Out).
- Plan, schedule, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors as needed.
- Comply with MOC (Management of Change) requirements for plant modifications.
- Actively identify and implement improvements to enhance safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Participate in daily operations and maintenance meetings.
- Uphold company safety standards and report safe/unsafe acts using Observation Safety Techniques (OST).
- Participate in responsible waste management and environmental stewardship.
Skills & Qualifications
- Texas Journeyman Electrician License – Required
- 4–6 years’ experience in electrical maintenance, preferably within the oil & gas industry
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for lighting, HVAC, and motor systems
- Working knowledge of Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) and MOC procedures
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Team player capable of collaborating across operations and maintenance groups
- Adaptable to changing priorities, deadlines, and workloads
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other common maintenance software
