We're hiring for Primary Care CMA roles

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (Required)

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· REQUIRED: one of the following certifications to be considered; Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)

· One year of experience in either an office or clinic setting, with experience in the long-term care setting.

· Must reside in the NC or SC area where work is being listed.

· Must have reliable transportation.

WORK ENVIRONMENT/TRAVEL
Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Equipment required to perform the duties will be provided. This is an on-site position, that requires the candidate to have a private, quite working space, away from distractions, that is HIPPA compliant, as well as travel to regional communities.

LifeSource is looking for a customer service focused CNA/CMA to join our dynamic Primary Care Team! This person will be key to ensuring our providers are able to serve each patient, that is needing our services, by working with the provider onsite. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all inclusive, other duties may be assigned:

  • Assist provider in daily documentation within the electronic health medical records system.
  • Performs or assists with documentation of lab results, vital signs, visit information, data collection and other clinical information as indicated.
  • Act as a liaison between the facility and other functions in the company to assist with the patient’s needs.
  • Coordinate with the Regional Director of Customer Service regarding facility and provider needs, as necessary.
  • Preform telephone message taking with patients, document encounters, follow protocols established by LifeSource leadership, and inform providers.
  • Address needs of patients by completing forms accurately and thoroughly.
  • Reviewed provider appointments the day before visit to anticipate patient and provider needs.
  • Communicate with key facility staff member, patients, and family members regarding care updates, needs and appointments. Ensuring documentation within the electronic medical record and timely communication to the service provider.
  • Provide a high-level of professional and personable customer service across all business day interactions.
  • Establish and maintain good rapport and relationships with providers, patients, and facility staff.
  • Regularly check email and other forms of company communication to ensure patient needs are met
  • Other clinical and administrative duties as assigned by the company, service provider and within scope of practice.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Customer service/phone experience.
  • Possess the ability to multitask and stay organized.
  • Reliable and dependable.
  • Experience with electronic health record systems.
  • Prior health care scheduling or medical related experience.
  • General Knowledge of HIPAA privacy laws and medical terminology.
  • Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and general Microsoft (PC) and Apple Based products (iPhone, iPad).
  • Possess the drive to help patients and staff with tact and diplomacy.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in verbal and written form.
  • Strong communication skills and customer service attitude required.

Must be able to frequently communicate with facilities and patients and/or with others about patient or provider requirement, complaints, and common inquiries.
