Job DescriptionLHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a company local to Cherry Hill, NJ. We are in search of a bookkeeper to complete a contract to cover maternity leave.
Job Title: Bookkeeper (Contract - Maternity Leave Coverage)
Location: Cherry Hill, NJ (Fully Onsite)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: 3-4 months (maternity leave coverage)
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
- Pay Rate: $32-$38/hr.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Assist with month-end close activities
- Generate financial reports as needed
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks (or similar accounting software)
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables preferred)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's in Accounting preferred

Pay Details: $32.00 to $38.00 per hour
