Early Bird Construction is seeking a Carpenter to join our team in Evansville, IN.
Position Summary
The Carpenter will perform skilled carpentry work to construct, install, and repair building components according to job specifications and quality standards. This role supports a variety of on-site projects, ensuring work is completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.
As a full-time, onsite position, you will collaborate with project teams and follow established procedures to deliver reliable workmanship from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities

Build, install, and repair structures and fixtures using technical carpentry skills

Read and interpret job plans, measurements, and specifications to ensure accurate work

Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials to meet project requirements

Complete tasks in alignment with safety practices and site procedures

Inspect completed work for quality and make adjustments as needed
Required Qualifications

Ability to perform carpentry tasks involving measuring, cutting, and installing materials

Strong understanding of construction fundamentals and safe work practices

Experience working on job sites in a hands-on, team-oriented environment

Ability to follow instructions, maintain attention to detail, and meet deadlines

Willingness to work onsite full-time in Evansville, IN
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with residential or commercial construction projects

Familiarity with common framing and finish carpentry methods

Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot minor issues and adjust work to match specifications

Compensation
Hourly rate: $23.00 - $30.00
