About the Role:
The Quality Inspection - Team Lead will play a crucial role in ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality and safety before they reach our customers. This position involves overseeing a team of quality inspectors, providing guidance and support to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies. The Team Lead will be responsible for developing and implementing quality control processes that enhance product reliability and performance. Additionally, this role requires collaboration with other departments to address quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Ultimately, the Team Lead will contribute to the overall success of the manufacturing process by ensuring that only the best products are delivered to the market. This is a working lead role.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in quality inspection or assurance within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of quality control methodologies and industry standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) or Six Sigma.
- Experience in a leadership role within a quality inspection team.
- Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor a team of quality inspectors to ensure effective quality control processes.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of products and processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement quality assurance protocols and procedures in line with industry standards.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality-related issues and enhance product design.
- Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics and present findings to management for strategic decision-making.
