We are looking for driven, outgoing, and motivated Independent Sales Representatives to grow our business and strengthen relationships with existing customers. You will have the freedom of an independent contractor — with the full support of a team that celebrates your success every step of the way.

This role is all about energy, relationships, and results. You will visit accounts, prospect new customers, share exciting product updates, and make sure every client feels valued and supported.

What You will Do:

  • Visit each customer at least four times a year, not just to check in, but to build real partnerships and share what’s new and fun.
  • Conduct calls to customer 1 time every 2 months, to keep a good rapport going with customers and seeing if they need merchandise
  • Hit the road with confidence and your territory is your stage. Plan your travel to deliver great service and discover new opportunities.
  • Keep your pipeline strong with daily prospecting and cold-calling on potential customers who have not yet experienced Penrod/Hiawatha magic.
  • Use Salesforce.com every day to record visits, track leads, and schedule follow-ups so nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Meet and exceed sales and growth goals and celebrate when you do (because we will too!).
  • Respond quickly to customers, share feedback with the home office, and collaborate with management to keep your territory thriving.
  • Represent the Penrod/Hiawatha brand proudly and professionally, including wearing your name badge when visiting accounts.
  • Know our products inside and out — from best-sellers to seasonal favorites — and share that excitement with customers.
  • Keep your customers happy and loyal, maintaining a 95%+ retention rate through service that goes above and beyond.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Compensation:
This is a commission-based position with uncapped earning potential.

Independent contractors represent Penrod/Hiawatha exclusively in the souvenir category. Competing product lines are not permitted.
