Sierra Dairy Laboratory is seeking a reliable and hardworking Lab Assistant to join our team. This position plays a key role in supporting our dairy testing operations, ensuring quality, accuracy, and compliance with all lab and customer procedures. Candidates should be comfortable with hands-on work, attention to detail, and maintain consistent performance in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately always follow laboratory procedures and customer regulations

• Verify, record, and maintain all testing and data documentation

• Maintain laboratory equipment and participate in performance testing

• Ensure a clean, safe, and compliant work environment

• Continuously learn and adapt to new testing methods and procedures

• Perform basic data entry and administrative documentation tasks

• Pick up samples at Customer sites

Employment Standards & Requirements

• Mandatory weekend and holiday work (rotating schedule)

• Valid California driver’s license required with 7 years exp. or 25 years old.

• Ability to stand for the duration of an 8-hour shift

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (or adjust as needed to carry smaller loads)

• Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions

• Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high-quality standards
