We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Buyer to join our Supply Chain team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to build a career in purchasing and supply chain management. In addition to supporting procurement activities, the Junior Buyer will assist with shipping, packing, and material logistics to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in purchasing raw materials, hardware, and components from approved suppliers.
  • Issue purchase orders, track deliveries, and follow up with vendors to ensure timely fulfillment.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records and supplier information in ERP/MRP systems.
  • Support cost tracking, vendor evaluations, and sourcing alternatives.
  • Communicate with internal departments to understand material requirements and lead times.
  • Monitor inventory levels and reorder materials as needed to avoid shortages or overstock.
  • Help resolve supplier issues, discrepancies, or quality concerns.
  • Send requests for quotes to suppliers for outside services.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in supply chain, business, logistics, or related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in purchasing, logistics, or shipping—preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Basic understanding of purchasing processes and supply chain functions.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Comfortable working in both office and light industrial environments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Experience in AS9100 or ISO-certified environments is a plus.
  • Knowledge of ITAR and export documentation requirements is preferred.
