Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Take the next step in your career by supporting elementary students as a Case Manager in a vibrant school community. This contract opportunity spans the school year from August 25th through June 14th, with hours from 8:45 AM to 3:45 PM. You’ll work closely with 2nd and 3rd graders, helping them reach their potential in both special education and general classroom environments.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education
- Experience as a Special Education Teacher or Case Manager
- Solid understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
- Familiarity with progress monitoring and instructional data analysis
- Knowledge of New Hampshire special education regulations and NHSEIS preferred
- Collaborative approach to working with staff, families, and external agencies
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, individualized instruction aligned with IEP goals
- Monitor student progress and adjust programming based on evaluation and data
- Manage and update all IEPs and related documentation within NHSEIS, ensuring regulatory compliance
- Provide supervision and support to instructional staff implementing accommodations and modifications
- Uphold procedural safeguards and district policies regarding special education services
- Serve as a key liaison, collaborating regularly with classroom teachers, therapists, counselors, and families
- Participate actively in team meetings, professional development, and building-level duties as assigned by administration
