Position Summary:
FusionICS is seeking a highly organized and experienced Lead Construction Administrator to oversee documentation control, compliance assurance, and communication across multiple secure construction sites. This leadership role ensures the execution of high-visibility federal projects remains compliant, coordinated, and on schedule.
The Lead Construction Administrator will mentor junior staff, serve as the primary point of contact for construction documentation workflows, and coordinate directly with client representatives, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead construction documentation management for multiple concurrent projects.
- Serve as the primary coordinator for RFIs, submittals, and progress tracking.
- Facilitate communication between project managers, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Organize and lead construction meetings; prepare agendas and detailed minutes.
- Maintain compliance logs and coordinate corrective action documentation.
- Monitor project schedules, field activity updates, and reporting deliverables.
- Support QA/QC inspection workflows and document closeout packages.
- Train and oversee junior construction admin personnel.
- Ensure accurate version control and data integrity across all construction records.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- Associate degree in Construction Management or related discipline required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in construction administration or field engineering.
- Previous leadership or team coordination experience is strongly desirable.
- Experience with DoD construction projects, military facilities, or government contracting preferred.
Certifications & Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Experience with document control systems (e.g., Procore, e-Builder, Primavera Contract Management).
- Familiarity with reading and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings.
- Understanding of contract requirements, submittals, RFIs, and compliance documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of discretion and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team leader.
- Capable of maintaining professionalism in high-pressure or secure environments.
Security Clearance Requirement:
- Active Top Secret (TS) clearance required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain clearance at the necessary level for assigned duties.

Compensation:
- Base Salary: Competitive, based on experience and security clearance level.
- Annual Review: Compensation is reviewed annually as part of FusionICS' performance and salary review process.

Work Conditions & Physical Requirements:

- Requires lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.
- Occasional travel to other sites or campuses as needed.
- Onsite position; night or weekend work may be necessary based on construction schedules.
