Schedule: Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $24/hour (W2)
Job Overview
A healthcare facility is seeking a skilled and dependable Medical Assistant to support both front-office and back-office operations. This role requires strong clinical and administrative abilities, patient-focused communication, and the flexibility to assist wherever needed within the center. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative healthcare environment and demonstrate attention to detail and professionalism.
Responsibilities

Greet, room, and assist patients during clinic visits

Perform front-office and back-office duties as needed

Take and record vital signs accurately

Perform phlebotomy/venipuncture and draw blood samples
-
Administer vaccines and perform point-of-care (POC) testing
-
Conduct EKGs as required

Schedule appointments and manage patient flow

Answer phones and assist with patient inquiries

Document patient information in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment

Collaborate effectively with clinical and administrative staff
Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience (excluding externship)

Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred

Occupational Health experience strongly preferred

Required experience with phlebotomy/venipuncture and EMR systems

Strong attention to detail and computer proficiency

Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
