We are seeking adjunct faculty to teach one or more laboratory sections of Organic Chemistry for Biochemistry and Chemistry majors. Students enrolled in this lab course are also enrolled in a lecture course in organic chemistry. The laboratory component is designed to reinforce and support lecture material through hands-on experiments. All lab experiments are pre-designed and fully developed. Instructors are responsible for facilitating the labs, guiding student learning, and ensuring safe laboratory practices.
Qualifications:
- A completed Master's degree in chemistry or a closely related field is required; a Ph.D. is preferred.
- College-level teaching preferred; strong content knowledge and interest in teaching also considered.
- Candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to undergraduate laboratory instruction and adhere to all applicable federal, state, and institutional safety and waste disposal protocols.
