We are currently looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team in Sacramento! The ideal candidate has prior accounting experience and a strong desire to learn, grow, and contribute to the continued success of our company. Iron Mechanical is a large-scale plumbing and HVAC subcontractor with projects across the state, focusing primarily on multi-family housing and high rises, but also much, much more! Our team is dynamic, fun, tight-knit and growing fast!
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
A/R:
- Enter customer invoices into QuickBooks
- Manage a schedule of values for customer billings
- Collect payment from other businesses
- Apply payment in QuickBooks
A/P:
- Submit invoices to Project Managers for approval
- Enter vendor invoices into QuickBooks
- Review vendor statements monthly
- Review A/P Aging and process payments as directed
- Enter credit card charges
Requirements:
- Construction experience
- QuickBooks experience in an office setting
- At least 2 years of accounting experience
- Microsoft Office experience – especially Excel and Outlook
