Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid 165 Comprehensive Special Education Certification (required)
- Experience teaching in middle or high school settings preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and accommodating educational environment
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborative approach for working with educators, administrators, and families
Responsibilities:
- Develop, adapt, and deliver instructional materials tailored to each student's needs
- Manage a diverse caseload of middle and high school students
- Assess academic and functional performance, tracking progress and documenting outcomes
- Implement IEPs and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Collaborate with general education staff, related service providers, and families
- Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development as needed
