The Business Development Manager will be instrumental in growing market share thru representation of our industry-leading product portfolio. Responsibilities:

  • Identify new business opportunities and manage strategic Technology Partners- focusing on growth in all market segments
  • Relentlessly pursue and constant follow up on opportunities to grow exposure and recognition of Havis brand
  • Foster and leverage all relationships in total Ecosystem to grow the Havis presence with Technology Partners, Distributors, Resellers, ISV’s and all applicable.
  • Facilitate and sustain relationships between the broad sales and product teams with all appropriate partners
  • Maintain in depth knowledge of Havis Markets, Regions, Products, and Competitors
  • Design and manage marketing initiatives and activities including company-sponsor events around partner, product or customer territory
  • Define joint execution plans with partners, maintain timelines, and create engagement strategies
  • Identify, establish and maintain relationships with key players at all levels within our partner organizations
  • Proactively identify growth opportunities and take initiative to develop and execute plans to achieve goals
  • Leverage partner management systems to measure partner performance, create and execute business plans
  • Organize and conduct Periodic Business Reviews (PBR’s), and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR’s) with partners utilizing management systems
  • Consistently consider process improvements to optimize partner management activities, and achieve growth
  • Participate in creating and managing the annual budget
  • Lead cross-functional teams in building business plans
  • Work closely with multiple Havis business units, at all levels to facilitate partner growth
  • Act as a face of the company at trade shows and other key industry events

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business related field or equivalent work experience
    1. MBA/Master’s degree, a plus
  • 5+ years of successful business development experience (technical products preferred)
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50%, including Havis HQ visits
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Dynamic and energetic with a proven success managing and developing a sales channel
  • Possess the confidence, enthusiasm, maturity and presence to be an ambassador for the Havis brand
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and account management skills
  • Exceptional presentation skills both live and online (Webinar)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in OneNote, Salesforce (CRM) preferred
  • High Proficiency in leveraging technology in organizational skills
  • Ability to understand written and verbal instructions in English
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
  • Must possess a strong attention to detail
