Allied Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology

Job Details:
\n
• Work 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
\n• May work until 5:00 PM or later based on case load due to high census
\n• No call during the week, weekend call if needed
\n• Float requirement to OPP based on staff and census
\n• Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures
\n• Provide support for other imaging technologists as needed
\n• Demonstrate flexibility by working other shifts and/or at other campuses as needed
\n• Troubleshoot basic maintenance and participate in quality assurance
\n• Resolve issues related to image processing and image archiving system
\n• Maintain radiation safety protocol while handling radionuclides and pharmaceuticals
\n• Complete daily logs and periodic tests as required by license
\n• Ensure completed exams are scanned and stored correctly in PACS
\n• Follow PACS downtime procedures as a PACS Superuser
\n• Graduate of accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent required
\n• 1 year of experience in clinical nuclear medicine setting preferred
\n• Nuclear Medicine Technology (N) by ARRT or NMTCB required
\n• Texas state licensure required - MRT by TMB
\n• BLS required (AHA only)
\n• Basic computer experience required
