Executive Chef Qualifications:
· Minimum 5 years in a leadership role in a fine-dining kitchen
· Passion for and high-level competence and expertise in Italian cuisine, particularly seafood and coastal flavors
· Excited to spend 100% of the time on creativity and R&D without major admin responsibilities
· Proven ability to lead and mentor a culinary team
· ServSafe certification or equivalent required
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Executive Chef Preferred Background:
· Experience in fine dining, chef driven, authentic Italian restaurants
· Track record of creating innovative, seasonal menus
· Strong vendor relationships for sourcing premium ingredients
· Experience with wine pairing or special event execution
· Good understanding of food cost control and inventory management
· Seasonal cooking and regional procurement – artisanal product purveyors
