Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This contract opportunity is for a Special Education Teacher to work in an elementary school setting in Lakeville, MN. The role involves supporting a self-contained classroom with approximately 8-10 students, providing specialized instruction tailored to their educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group instruction in a self-contained classroom environment.
- Develop and implement specialized lesson plans and educational activities.
- Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods as necessary.
- Collaborate with school staff and families to support student growth.
- Maintain clear and accurate records of student performance and behavior.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teaching certification or credentials.
- Experience working in elementary special education settings preferred.

Position Details:
- Training Date: June 22nd
- School Dates: July 6th - July 30th (Monday through Thursday only)
- Hours: 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with additional time allocated for preparation.
