This contract position offers the chance to deliver specialized care to ambulatory cancer patients requiring radiation therapy, utilizing advanced technology in a supportive and diverse environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Administering precise radiation treatments using Varian Truebeam Linear Accelerators.
- Collaborating with a team of approximately 12 therapists to treat 60100 patients daily across three machines.
- Maintaining proficiency with EMR systems, specifically EPIC/Aria.
- Potentially floating to other radiation therapy sites within the greater Charlotte area, with managerial approval.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of radiation therapy experience.
- BLS certification required.
- Certified Radiotherapy Technologist (ARRT-T).
- Strong proficiency in operating Varian Truebeam Linear Accelerators.
- Comfortable working with diverse cancer diagnoses and outpatient treatment protocols.
- Ability to adapt to a collaborative, team-oriented culture.
