Job DescriptionAre you an experienced Accountant looking for a new challenge?
REQUIREMENTS
- Allocates expenditures to correct accounts according to departmental procedures
- Responsible for overseeing the accounting team (two Accountants)
- Monitor accuracy of financial reporting
- Complete account reconciliations
- Research discrepancies and implement corrections
- Prepare financial statements
- Proficient in financial analysis, assist management with forecasting and reporting as needed
- Inventory Auditing
- Collaborate and prepare documents for third party CPA to complete company taxes
- Meet with and communicate with banking partners regarding financial needs of the business. Provide
documents to them in a timely manner
- Strategic planning with company management
- Complete reporting for company upper management team
- Evaluate, maintain, and strengthen internal controls and accounting practices
- Identify areas to standardize, simplify, and streamline processes to aid in continuous improvement of the Accounting Department
- Complete other office duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Experienced in Microsoft Office and ability to use Teams
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Prior supervisory experience
- Strong written and verbal communication
