Location: Milford, MI
Type: Direct Hire
Pay: $25–$27/hour
Hours: Monday – Friday 8am-5pm (100% in office)
Position Overview: Seeking a detail-oriented Order Entry & Invoicing Specialist (OEI) to support logistics and shipping operations. This is a support role focused on processing orders, coordinating shipments, and ensuring accurate documentation. The ideal candidate is highly organized, computer savvy, and comfortable working with spreadsheets and web-based systems.
Key Responsibilities:
· Enter order and shipment data into internal systems and customer websites
· Prepare and compile shipping paperwork for warehouse processing
· Maintain and update tracking spreadsheets with accuracy
· Communicate with warehouse staff to verify shipment details and resolve discrepancies
· Coordinate with trucking companies (e.g., confirming pickups and shipment details)
· Ensure correct counts and weights for shipments; reconcile any inconsistencies
· Assist with filing and general administrative support
· Provide limited phone support as needed
Qualifications:
· Strong computer and software skills (Excel and web-based platforms required)
· High attention to detail and accuracy
· Previous administrative, order entry, or office experience preferred
· Ability to manage and reconcile data discrepancies
· Professional and polite communication skills
· Experience in logistics or shipping is a plus, but not required
· Experience with Infor manufacturing software a plus
