Compensation: $55.00 – $65.00 / Per Hour
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Billing & Revenue Manager to provide temporary leadership for a high-performing accounting team. This individual will oversee billing, revenue recognition, financial reporting, and invoicing activities while ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and maintaining strong internal controls. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has extensive experience managing complex billing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team responsible for billing and revenue operations.
- Oversee revenue recognition processes to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP.
- Manage the monthly close process related to revenue, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Review and approve customer invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Develop, improve, and maintain billing and revenue processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure projects and billing structures are established in accordance with accounting standards and internal policies.
- Maintain documentation supporting revenue transactions and ensure compliance with internal control requirements.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve billing issues and support operational initiatives.
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and analysis.
- Monitor multiple projects simultaneously while meeting critical deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 10+ years of progressive billing and revenue accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and revenue recognition principles.
- Experience managing month-end close activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
- Prior experience leading and developing accounting or billing teams.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- CPA and experience with enterprise accounting systems are a plus.
