Instructional Aide (Per Diem) Lees Summit, MO
A school district in Lees Summit, MO is seeking compassionate Instructional Aides to provide one-on-one and small group support to students in a structured classroom setting. Key Responsibilities:
- Support students academically, behaviorally, and socially within the classroom
- Provide individualized or small-group assistance as directed by teachers and staff
- Assist students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation

- Support mobility, supervision, and personal care needs
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to pass TB test (per school district requirements)
- Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
- Current educator certification and background clearances, or willingness to obtain prior to start
Preferred Experience:
- Work experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
- Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
- Training or certification such as CPI, PMT, or RBT is a plus but not required
- Reliable, patient, and a collaborative mindset
