We're on the lookout for a dedicated Parent Management Training Oregon (PMTO) Therapist to join our team in Olathe, KS. As a PMTO Therapist, you’ll have the opportunity to provide direct intervention to children and families involved in Family Preservation, Foster Care, and Adoption Services, helping them build healthier, stronger relationships.
What is PMTO? PMTO is an evidence-based intervention which means that it has been demonstrated, through scientific studies, to be effective in treating behavioral problems.PMTO believes that parents are their children’s most important teachers. Therefore, most of PMTO is done with the parents to empower them with effective child-rearing strategies.

What You’ll Do:
- Provide intensive, face-to-face in-home services to children, parents, and families
- Develop treatment plans with the family, caseworkers, and community service providers
- Participate in PMTO Certification Training to enhance your skillset
- Build strong relationships with families and community professionals
- Provide ongoing support with case documentation and reporting
- Engage in PMTO group and individual coaching to continuously improve
- Play an active role in team meetings, ensuring families receive comprehensive care
What We’re Looking For:
- Master’s degree in a field licensable by the KS BSRB
- Licensure by the Kansas BSRB is required
- At least 21 years old with a valid driver's license and auto insurance
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload of 6-10 families
- Non-judgmental, flexible, and creative approach to working with troubled families
- Willingness to embrace new strategies, including video-taping your sessions for professional development
- Ability to receive feedback and apply it to improve your work
- Experience with SED youth, foster care, and behavioral approaches preferred
- 2 year commitment to project
