Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher specializing in Autism to support elementary students in grades K-2 within an inclusive learning environment. Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Special Education or a related field
- Valid Special Education teaching license in Indiana
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to elementary students in K-2nd grade with autism
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with each students unique needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to promote an inclusive and supportive classroom
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
Job Details:
- Location: Indianapolis, IN
- Duration: Full semester contract starting ASAP through the end of the school year
- Schedule: 35-40 hours per week, 5 days per week
