Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Physical Therapist opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year in Ballwin, MO. This contract position offers a consistent 36-hour work week (7 hours per day), beginning as soon as possible and continuing through May 22, 2026.
Key responsibilities include developing individualized goals for students, evaluating physical therapy needs, and delivering skilled intervention services. The therapist will actively participate in IEP meetings, provide quarterly progress updates, and consult with staff to support student success. Managing a caseload of approximately 30-60 students per week, the therapist will tailor services based on each student’s abilities and therapy requirements. Creating and maintaining an effective therapy schedule is also essential to this role.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Licensed Physical Therapist with appropriate state credentials
- Experience providing physical therapy services in a school setting
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and special education regulations
- Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently and document progress accurately
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with educators, parents, and other professionals
