Our organization is actively looking for additional Outpatient Neurologists to join our expanding team at St. Peters Neurology, situated in the vibrant Capital Region of New York.
With locations in Albany and Clifton Park, this role presents a unique chance to be part of a physician-led entity with a well-established neurology department that is growing and integrating its services. Position Overview:
- Outpatient role from Monday to Friday, featuring a shared call rotation among providers.
- Join an established practice with three full-time physicians and a team of two advanced practitioners, focusing on general neurology care in the outpatient setting and inpatient rounding/consultation at a local hospital.
- Enjoy shared rotational call and robust practice support.
- Proficiency in EMG/NCS and EEG is required.
- Opportunities for sleep study readings are available.
- Access to sub-specialties, including an MS Headache Center, with strong Hospitalist support.
- Specialization opportunities in neuromuscular and epilepsy are available on dedicated days for those with relevant expertise.
Qualifications:
Candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Board Certified in Neurology.
- Fellowship training in various sub-specialties is welcomed but not mandatory (the primary focus is on general care).
- Strong clinical and communication skills, along with a commitment to providing excellent, team-oriented care.
- A desire to deliver general neurological care is essential.

Compensation Package:
We offer a comprehensive salary and benefits package that includes:
- Compensation ranging from $340,000 to $360,000.
- The stated salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, quality and performance incentives, extra shift bonuses, and other forms of cash compensation applicable to the role. Additionally, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits from their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with state law and may vary based on the factors mentioned.
- Starting bonus of $25,000.
- Retention bonus of $15,000 at the two-year mark.
- Comprehensive benefits, including health, vision, and dental insurance.
- Paid malpractice coverage, including post-employment tail coverage.
- Five days of CME time with a $4,500 expense allowance.
- 27 days of paid time off.
