Role Summary

As a Clinical Supervisor, you will be instrumental in the planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of patient care and operations in specific areas. You will serve as a clinical resource for staff and patients alike, and when necessary, fulfill the role of a staff nurse. Additionally, you will assume managerial tasks as directed by the department manager.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Completion of an accredited nursing program.

Experience:

  • At least 2 years of direct patient care experience is required.

Licensure:

  • Must possess a current RN license in the state of employment or compact licensure, fulfilling all state board of nursing criteria.

Certifications:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (or completion within 30 days of hire).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior supervisory experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
