This role is for a Registered Nurse (RN) within the Operating Room at our Center for Performance Medicine, delivering surgical care to patients across multiple specialties such as orthopedics, urology, plastics, neurology, and general surgery. Key responsibilities include coordinating patient care, overseeing operating room operations, assisting in the onboarding of new staff, and supporting departmental functions. This position collaborates closely with the Clinical Supervisor for the respective service. The primary duties of the Registered Nurse involve assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. You will coordinate care in partnership with other departments and manage service delivery in your designated specialty area. Efficiently organizing workflow, including room preparation and turnover, as well as ensuring the availability of necessary supplies and equipment before each procedure, is essential. The role may also require stepping in as needed to cover breaks and lunches. Additionally, you will assist with operational support tasks and help orient new colleagues alongside the Supervisor and the OR Nurse Clinician.

Facility Overview:
The Center for Performance Medicine provides cutting-edge outpatient surgical care, featuring 10 operating rooms, 2 minor procedure rooms, and 1 cystoscopy suite, making it one of the largest surgical centers in the nation. Our facility is equipped with the latest technology.
We specialize in various surgical fields, including orthopedics, urology, plastics, neurology, and general surgery.
In addition to the operating rooms, the center includes a dedicated pre/post-operative area, PACU, a 23-hour stay area, SPD, and supply chain management.
Our caregivers enjoy the benefit of no weekend shifts, no holiday work, and no on-call requirements.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in an Operating Room setting
- Required Education: Nursing degree from an accredited institution
- Preferred Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- License: Valid RN license in the state
- Certifications: Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
