Job Details:

  • Position: Full-time, in-person role
  • School Year Duration: Late August 2026 to mid-June 2027
  • Work Setting: Elementary, Middle, or High School

Role Overview:

As a Speech Language Pathologist, your primary responsibility will be to create and implement tailored education and treatment plans for students whose communication abilities have been affected by developmental challenges, disabilities, or injuries. This position allows you to work with young learners in a nurturing school environment, making a lasting impact on their growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual assessments in speech and language.
  • Provide detailed written reports of observations, assessment findings, and recommendations.
  • Engage with program staff and parents regarding evaluation outcomes and suggestions.
  • Assist in the creation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) and help determine placements for eligible children.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Communication Disorders or Speech Language Pathology.
  • Valid Speech Language Pathology License issued by the Oregon Board of Examiners.
  • Preferred experience working with children.
