Job Title: Medical Lab Technologist
Location: Morris Plains, New Jersey, 07950
Contract duration: 13 weeks
Shift:5X8 Hours
Schedule: Rotating
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and specialized laboratory testing in the Core Laboratory in accordance with SOPs
- Accurately analyze, validate, and report laboratory results in a timely manner
- Operate, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory analyzers and equipment
- Perform and document quality control, quality assurance, and proficiency testing activities
- Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation per regulatory and departmental requirements
- Monitor, manage, and restock laboratory supplies and reagents
- Communicate laboratory findings and provide technical information to the patient care team
- Follow all safety, infection control, and compliance standards
- Participate in ongoing training and competency assessments
Requirements:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology
- ASCP or equivalent Medical Laboratory Scientist certification required
- Previous laboratory experience preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently during night shifts
