Lake Title is seeking an experienced, excited title agent to join our growing team.

Compensation:
$70,000 - $100,000 yearly
Responsibilities:
- Work effectively throughout the closing process with a variety of industry professionals, such as real estate agents, settlement agents, title insurance agents, law firms, escrow officers, closing agents, paralegals, and escrow companies
- Verify there are no real estate title defects or title issues such as liens, wills, claims, deeds, mortgages, or fraud once the property search is complete
- Prepare closing statements after reviewing all closing documents to ensure all title commitments have been met.
- Disburse funds according to closing instructions
- Ensure all legal documents at the county and federal levels have been recorded, and present the deed to the new owners
- Facilitate the issuance of the title insurance policies after closing
Qualifications:
- Insurance Producer License and Notary are required - Closer license is a bonus
- Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite
- The ideal candidate will be process-driven, highly analytical, and detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills
- 3-5 years of experience in title closing, title examiner, abstractor, or closing services is required
