• Prepare and review individual income tax returns accurately and efficiently
• Handle common tax forms including W-2, 1099, Schedule C, Schedule E, credits, and deductions
• Interview clients to gather financial and personal tax information
• Ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations
• Maintain confidentiality of all client data
• Use professional tax preparation software to complete returns
• Meet productivity and quality standards during peak season
• Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

• 1–2+ seasons of paid tax preparation experience
• Prior experience working in a tax office or firm
• Strong knowledge of individual income tax returns
• Familiarity with tax credits and deductions
• PTIN (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
• Ability to work January through April, including peak periods
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
