Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract position is available for a qualified School Psychologist to serve K-12 students in Monument, CO. This role requires conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations, interpreting assessment data, and providing actionable recommendations to support students' learning, emotional, and behavioral needs. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop effective interventions and participate in IEP meetings, ensuring each student receives tailored support.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments to identify student needs across learning, emotional, and behavioral areas.
  • Interpret evaluation data and prepare detailed reports prior to IEP meetings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and students to recommend classroom modifications and interventions.
  • Participate in pre-referral and post-placement meetings to discuss and implement intervention strategies.
  • Maintain accurate case records and documentation.
  • Attend staff, professional development, and inter-agency meetings as required.

Qualifications:

  • Possess or be eligible for a Colorado Department of Education Special Services Providers License with a School Psychologist K-12 endorsement.
  • Successful completion of an approved specialist-level or doctoral program in school psychology from a regionally accredited institution, with a minimum of 60 graduate-level semester hours.
  • Experience working with children and students ages birth through 21 years.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must pass a criminal background check and district fingerprinting.

  • Hours: 37.5 per week, 5 days a week
