Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Provide specialized instruction and support to K-12 students with diverse learning needs in an onsite special education role. This contract position runs through the current school year, offering an opportunity to positively impact approximately 22 students academic, social, and behavioral development.

Onsite only

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver tailored special education instruction aligned with Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
Collaborate closely with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to foster student growth
Support social and behavioral development in students with diverse needs
Maintain accurate records and actively participate in student progress meetings

Qualifications:

Valid Minnesota teaching license required
Endorsement in Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD), Emotional and Behavioral Disorders (EBD), or Adaptive Behavior Specialist (ABS) ABS endorsement considered only as a last option
Experience working with students with emotional and behavioral disorders essential
Strong communication and collaboration skills
