Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position based in Aurora, CO, serving a K-8 school setting. The role involves working onsite with a caseload of 35-40 students presenting mild/moderate to moderate/severe needs. This contract position runs from December 1, 2025, to May 29, 2026, with full-time hours typically 37.5-40 per week, although part-time candidates will also be considered. The school is now open to candidates in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing direct speech-language services to students
- Conducting assessments, evaluations, and referrals
- Participating in IEP and 504 meetings and consultations with staff and families
- Managing a caseload primarily composed of K-8 students with diverse communication needs
Qualifications and requirements:
- Valid SLP certification and credentials suitable for school-based practice
- Ability to provide services onsite at the school location
- Experience or willingness to work with caseloads of varying severity levels
- Strong skills in conducting assessments and writing reports
- Candidates must submit their current CDE credential
