Manufacturing company in Blasdell, NY specializing in custom metal manufacturing is looking for a machine operator to join their team!!
1st shift hours - 6am-2:30pm Mon-Fri
Pay starts at $20/hr +

Requirements:
- Must have 2 or more years of machine operation experience
- Must have good attention to detail, machining or sheet metal working experience is a plus
- troubleshooting and set-up experience is preferred
- Must have good communication skills and be able to multi-task and prioritize job duties
Job Duties:
- Set up and operate machinery according to production specifications, work orders, and part drawings.
- Monitor machine operation to ensure consistent performance and high product quality.
- Make minor adjustments to machine settings to maintain quality standards and improve efficiency.
- Load raw materials into machines and unload finished products for further processing.
- Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of machinery to prevent breakdowns and ensure proper function.
- Inspect finished products for defects, ensuring they meet predetermined quality standards.
- Troubleshoot minor issues that arise during operation, and report more complex problems to maintenance teams.
- Follow all established safety protocols and company procedures at all times to prevent accidents.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Keep accurate records of production data and report any issues or deviations to supervisors.

- Coordinating break-times with daily production
- Never leave machinery-in-operation unattended
- Communicate effectively with supervisors on any issues
