A full-time Special Education Teacher opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year in Aurora, CO. This position involves working in a center-based classroom within a K-12 school setting. The specific school site and age group assignment will be determined.

Qualifications:
- Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Education License with Generalist Endorsement (cannot accept substitute licenses or temporary licenses unless the full Special Education License with the correct endorsement is already applied for and proof provided)
- Applicants must have applied for or hold CDE Special Education Generalist (ages 5-21) endorsement
- Position is not open to virtual or hybrid teaching arrangements
- Travelers will only be considered if they have already applied for the required CDE license with endorsement
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction and support tailored to individual student needs in a center-based classroom
- Implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) with fidelity to ensure academic progress
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including educators, therapists, and families to support student success
- Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment
- Utilize data-driven methods to assess students and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
