We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team in Delaware, OH. As a vital part of our operations, you will be responsible for moving materials and products efficiently within our facility. Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the forklift and other material handling equipment.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory management.
- Follow safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to all safety regulations.
