Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a difference in the lives of young learners as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist in the Veradale, WA area. This contract position offers the chance to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and positively impact students’ communication abilities, both in and out of the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Lead engaging therapy sessions focused on speech and language development
- Maintain clear, meticulous documentation tracking student progress
- Work collaboratively with educators, therapists, and other specialists to ensure coordinated, holistic care
- Involve families by providing guidance and education related to therapy objectives
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active, state-approved license (or eligibility) as required for Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged children is a plus
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as a collaborative team member
