A healthcare opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Nurse with a strong background in Medical-Surgical and Neurology patient care. Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough neuro and medical-surgical assessments including NIH/stroke evaluations and fall risk monitoring
- Provide tracheostomy and feeding tube care with a focus on patient safety and comfort
- Utilize equipment such as IV pumps, seizure and respiratory monitoring devices, and glucometers effectively
- Collaborate with a dedicated team to maintain optimal patient ratios and deliver high-quality care
- Follow Neuro Clinical Practice Guidelines and contribute to a positive patient experience.
Qualifications:
- Current RN licensure with strong Medical-Surgical and Neurology nursing experience
- Certification in NIH stroke scale and Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is highly preferred
- Proven ability to multitask and engage with patients and team members enthusiastically
- Strong critical thinking, initiative, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule:
- Day Shift: 7 AM to 7 PM
- Located on the 7th floor (South and Tower) of the hospital.
