Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

RPh on the Go is hiring an Interim Director of Pharmacy for a critical access hospital in South Dakota. This is a 13-week travel contract with housing and travel accommodations provided for qualified candidates. The facility includes a 25-bed hospital and a long-term care unit, offering a unique leadership opportunity.

Schedule:

Full-time, 13-week contract
Critical access hospital with LTC responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Oversee pharmacy management and daily operations
Provide staffing support if the full-time pharmacist is unavailable
Manage 340B and LTC prescription processes
Attend meetings and lead Pharmacy & Therapeutics initiatives
Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards

Requirements:

Pharmacy management experience
340B experience preferred
Active and clear South Dakota pharmacist license
