Job DescriptionMATERIAL HANDLERAutomation Personnel Services is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Material Handler for a company based in Dallas, TX. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a fast-paced warehouse and operations team while building valuable experience in inventory control, shipping and receiving, and material movement within a growing production environment.Pay Rate$18.00-$20.00 per hourSchedule and HoursMonday through Friday, 1ST ShiftMaterial Handler Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive incoming materials and verify shipments against purchase orders and packing slips
- Unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment
- Move raw materials, finished goods, and supplies to designated storage areas
- Pick and stage materials for production orders or customer shipments
- Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP or warehouse management systems
- Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits
- Label, tag, and organize materials according to company standards
- Maintain clean and organized warehouse areas following safety protocols
- Coordinate with production, purchasing, and shipping teams to ensure material availability
- Identify damaged or incorrect materials and report discrepancies to supervisors
Material Handler Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–3 years of warehouse or material handling experience preferred
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain certification)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically active environment
- Basic computer skills for inventory systems or ERP platforms
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures
- Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or similar systems preferred
- Experience with barcode scanners and warehouse management systems preferred
- Prior experience in manufacturing or distribution environments preferred
